P. Ramendren Poobalasingam
Mr. Ramesh began his career as an adjuster in 1983 when he joined Jaya Adjusters Sdn Bhd. Seeking to enhance his professional qualifications, he pursued a Motor Insurance course at the Madras Insurance Institute, affiliated with the Federation of Insurance Institutes, Mumbai (formerly Bombay). Upon completing his studies, he joined a leading insurance company in 1987 as an Underwriting Executive. He later moved to Anika Insurance Brokers, where he served as a Reinsurance Executive.
In 1992, Mr. Ramesh rejoined Jaya Adjusters Sdn Bhd. In recognition of his significant contributions and leadership over the years, he was promoted to General Manager and subsequently appointed as Chief Executive Officer. In his current role, he leads the management team, oversees the marketing division, supervises the investigation team of adjusters, and manages the compliance unit. Mr. Ramesh has worked closely with editors and the compliance team to ensure that all outgoing reports consistently meet the quality standards and regulatory requirements set by insurers and relevant authorities. Moving forward, Mr. Ramesh has taken over Darmani Adjusters and now serves as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, where he looks ahead to strengthening the company's growth, capabilities, and industry presence.
